With its title “Avocado Capital of the World,” Fallbrook hosts the annual Avocado Festival each spring which attracts people from all over the region, and makes for a great weekend getaway for enjoying Southern California weather and festivities. Fallbrook boasts a rich history going back to the beginnings of the Santa Fe Railroad which ran through Fallbrook from 1881 to the early 1970s.

Fallbrook has also developed a thriving arts center with both visual artists and performing arts being an important part of the town’s activities. The Mission Theater puts on shows as well as a theatrical school for children, and the Fallbrook Village Association has been active in developing the Village into a community that welcomes businesses, artists, and visitors.

Fallbrook has a strong school system with eight elementary schools, as well as Falbrook Union High School, Sullivan Middle School, and Potter Junior High School to serve the community. With over 40% of the households having children under 18, it’s a strong family atmosphere and there is plenty of activities to keep the kids busy throughout the year.
